Donald Trump has a long history being on the opposite side of Native American rights.
In 1993, Trump said allowing Natives to operate casinos discriminated against him. During a congressional hearing, he questioned the heritage of gaming casino operators.

All of Trump's military threats will continue to keep tourists from going to the US. I know there are millions of good people, but I would not set foot in the US under the current administration's insanity. Everyone I know feels this way also.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

I was there! An amazing event! Yuzu skated his incredible FS, the crowd went crazy! In the aftermath of thousands of cheering Yuzu fans/teddy bears all over, came Nam Nguyen! Nam let the energy carry him through the best skate of his entire career! A wonderful night!! Also, Nam/Yuzu are friends!
This was a very interesting book... we all knew about Barbara Ann's success in skating and of course, her Olympic Gold medal, but not much else about her life. Or at least I didn't. I enjoyed reading about her life both on and off the ice. and also the old, black/white photos!
I'm very much enjoying this book... not yet finished. :)
