A four-panel comic titled "how to get into nature". In panel 1, a person kneels in the woods, looking down at a red-backed salamander, and the text says "notice a living thing." In panel 2, the text says "notice some other things that live near it," and there's a starflower, springtail, ant, little wood satyr butterfly, and salamander on the leaf litter. In panel 3, covered in creatures, plants, and a colorful starburst, the text says "Notice the connections between them, discover the wider ecosystem, learn about its histories, and find yourself following links from bedrock to stratosphere, between biotic and abiotic, at scales both microbial and massive, until youβre hopelessly overwhelmed by the wonder of it all." In panel 4, the text says "Fall into a daze and let moss engulf you." The person from the first panel is still kneeling in the woods, looking happy as moss slowly engulfs them, and they're saying "This is for the best."
How to get into nature.
a comic with three frames: 1) a man is reading a book entitled "Why Your Bluesky Timeline Is Bad" 2) the man is looking at a page in the book and it reads "skill issue" 3) the man cries tears of anguish
bluesky is the #1 app for introspection
FUCK
beginning to think being on websites might be bad for us
A picture of a dark room, with the glowing edge of the door and reflected light from the windows the only source of light. They look almost like panels across the wall. With the shapes of branches formed of shadow within.
When I canβt sleep I just watch the shadows tell a story on the blank wall. I love how the branches dance and the colors of the night seep into the panels.
Beautiful and super amazing little guy
SUV marked for Canton (MA) Animal Control parked in a driveway. A large tabby housecat with a collar is hanging on the rear passenger door and peering in suspiciously at the inside of the cabin.

HAPPY SATURDAY, EVERYONE!
I love this image.
Work on tortoise house mark II is underway. Ember the destroyer swiftly destroyed her first one. She wore through the mortar to the foam core.
Well Iβve never been much into Superman but boy oh boy is the new movie! James Gunn nailed it.
Dune.
Today in Boston.
Over a million people turned out.
Even the drone couldn't get it all.

Stand up everyone. The ants are at work!

ON APRIL 18, 1775, PAUL REVERE raced from Boston to spread the warning that British troops would be threatening the countryside come morning. Two lanterns were hung in this steeple to communicate to nearby patriots where the threat was coming from; ONE if by LAND TWO if by SEA
PAUL REVERE'S midnight message reverberated through the countryside and by the following day 4,000 patriots answered the call to PROTECT THE LIBERTY of their NEIGHBORS, their FAMILIES, and THEMSELVES in the first battle of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION,
250 years later, tyranny has returned. Let us honor the moral fortitude and bravery of Paul Revere and those 4,000 Massachusetts patriots and send forth the "cry of defiance and not fear." Let Boston once more be the BEACON in the country's hour of darkness and relight the rallying signal to protect our liberty. ONE IF BY LAND, TWO IF BY D.C.
Let #Boston once more be the beacon in the countryβs hour of darkness and relight the rallying signal to protect our liberty.
One if by land, two if by D.C.
Old North Church in Boston. There is a yellow projection lit up above the entrance that reads: βOne if by land, Two if by D.C.β (1/3)
Old North Church in Boston. The project now reads βLet the warning ride forth once more; tyranny is at our door.β (2/3)
Old North Church in Boston. The projection now reads: The Revolution started here and it never left. (3/3) Context: the first line is a version of well-known lines from the historical poem βPaul Revereβs Rideβ by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, which actually read βOne if by land, two if by sea.β Which referred to the number of lanterns used to indicate which route British troops would take at the start of the American Revolution. Old North Church is the same church used to hang the lanterns, and Paul Revereβs ride actually did happen, though not exactly as Longfellow told it.
I do believe the lantern has been lit.
Hopefully these are arranged in the correct order. Hereβs a link to historical event referenced in the pics: www.paulreverehouse.org/the-real-sto...

A sparrow that is so round that it looks more like a ball than bird. It is truly an incredible creature.
This is what peak performance looks like.
Close up of a jumping spider, curiously looking towards the camera. He is seated on the lip of a potted plant.
My new friend Torm, a brave little jumping spider that lives in my office potted plant.
And thatβs just due to all the information Iβm constantly getting. When people feel strong emotions and it comes off in their tone, body language, whatever it might be, I empathize to a degree where I often feel tired after.
Glad to see the push against RFK. But remember that autism is an umbrella! The way we experience empathy is different than a broad characterization. Definitely look into the links listed in the comments. I often get overwhelmed in situations where people are emotional. Regardless of which emotion!
