The bathymetry of Irabu Knoll, as seen in YK14-16 research cruise by R/V Yokosuka of JAMSTEC.
Apparently, a dyke injection event is ongoing near Irabu Knoll, at the southern Okinawa Trough back-arc basin. (Hypocenters: JMA; Bathymetry: GEBCO, JAMSTEC, Japan Coast Guard)

Yup, it’s what we called the Kalimantan slab that lies in the transition zone. Broke off north Borneo and Palawan, about 15 Myr ago!
Presumably some of the slab to Tethys subduction zone in SE Asia.
