The insignia on the shield is also scratched and blood stains show it has been used in battle. At the bottom, four andraste’s grace flowers sit around it like a memorial. A single ray of light falls down from above to show this sword and shield are somewhere in a cave-like environment, covered with dust. This shows the deep roads, and how the calling eventually calls all grey wardens to die on the caves under thedas fighting darkspawn.
