Unless I missed something, I don't recall him ever saying that. He has refused to recognize, etc., but that's not "I don't believe Israel should be Jewish." www.nytimes.com/2026/03/06/n...

there's a thing I like to call "load-bearing assumptions", that you don't notice until they're suddenly gone (e.g the air you breath has oxygen in it).

the post-ww2 order is a load-bearing assumption for basically the entirety of american life. trump took a sledgehammer to it in the last 90 days.

DoD readily leaking suggests the strike order came from very high up. For all Hegseth's crimes, I'm not sure he would knowingly order the murder of hundreds of schoolgirls. And I doubt Trump is picking targets.

But Miller would order it, and DoD wouldn't protect him.

Kinda blows that the post WWII international order might've been preserved if Israel had done a better job jailing Netanyahu and America had done a better job jailing Trump.

Yes, but typical of Hegseth, it amounts to little more than him grabbing his crotch and screaming, "You can't handle this, you can't handle this!" bsky.app/profile/adam...

Yes, NEPA would still be there and that's it's own bear, but MEPA, I've heard, can be unnecessarily worse. In retrospect, it was probably invoked to table the Blue Line Ext to Charles/MGH, but the idea you need a climate justice study per MEPA for the Red-Blue connector is obscene.

07.03.2026 00:23 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

I saw a post recently on Reddit that suggest one very prominent MBTA commuter project could probably sail through review if the lege exempted it from MEPA. There already was a railroad there. There's nothing to review and angry abutters shouldn't be allowed to pull every trick in the book.
