Very proud to present my doctoral work so far at the Politics and International Relations PGR poster showcase at the University of Edinburgh today! Pleased to get a lot of helpful feedback and encouragement from my peers and more senior academics.

With five or six party politics in every single seat, and many slim starting majorities, patterns of tactical squeezing will likely determine dozens of results next time. This is not something MRP can capture well even close to elections. Zero chance it is being captured now.

The Irish Politics Data project offers datasets, text corpora, and dashboards related to Irish politics. The website features polling results, national and cross-national surveys, election results, legislative data, party manifestos, parliamentary speeches, policy agendas, annual reports, and relevant literature from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The project aims to guide researchers, policymakers, journalists, and citizens to data and empirical literature on politics on the island of Ireland.
