Predictably brilliant day 2 at @scotvoting.bsky.social @ccc-research.bsky.social Scottish Politics conference

2 days of inspiring research and a reminder of the importance of studying Scottish politics both for how we understand Scotland and comparative politics more broadly

With five or six party politics in every single seat, and many slim starting majorities, patterns of tactical squeezing will likely determine dozens of results next time. This is not something MRP can capture well even close to elections. Zero chance it is being captured now.

As BlueSky takes off, I thought it a good idea to put together a starter pack of academics and think tankers interested and involved in Scottish affairs.

Bear in mind that I absolutely half-arsed this, so if you're missing (sorry) let me know and I'll add you! go.bsky.app/A88PM2W
