Norm is a dream interview, not least because has more stories than you could fit into 20 features, and drops names like confetti. There is simply no one he hasn't crossed paths with.

Thanks … and I stand corrected. I did not, however, spend six years researching! Malachi himself said details were scarce, and after doing my own research drew a bit of a blank, so I took him at his word. Perhaps a bit of myth building on his part?

RIP Marianne Faithfull. Interviewed her several times over the years. One time about 20 minutes after I’d been dumped by email. She picked up on it and sacked off the interview to give me the best relationship advice. Surreal but far more memorable than the person who dumped me

Saw Paul McCartney last night. Beyond magical. It’s the feeling of cynicism washing away and you can only go along with it. A perfect end to a year.
