Absolutely! But they would also put on special events and extra stuff to really support the releases. Victor Music were a great supporter.
They were always our best selling album and Japan absolutely loved them.
Phil Asher always used to have DJ Spinna track or remixes on the Jazz in the House compilations. They were always easy to get hold of because of their relationship.

Same here. And the stories that are now sadly lost about their times in the 60s. My mum was a nurse in central London and my dad an accounts clerk at that time. They went to jazz clubs and the like but then moved out to rural Essex.
