We did not come this far to be quiet now.
Happy International Womenβs Day.
We did not come this far to be quiet now.
Happy International Womenβs Day.
At a time when womenβs rights are being challenged and stripped away in many parts of the world, silence is not an option.
For the girls who come after us, including Ari, I promise I will keep speaking up, pushing forward, and taking up space.
This collage holds many of the women who shape my life, including my daughter Aria.
Today Iβm thinking about the women who came before me who spoke up, pushed back, and refused to accept the limits placed on them. Because of you, women like me have a voice. I am grateful for the path you paved.
Last chance to get tickets for tonight in London!

You know, I've lived near Listowel most of my life and still only watched a couple episodes because others were watching it lol
Grateful for the volunteers and leaders who continue to show up and make a difference. β€οΈ
Kitchener Centre is particularly meaningful to me because itβs where I spend much of my time working and supporting families.
One of the most special parts of this journey has been the friendships and connections Iβve built with people across the province.
With International Womenβs Day this weekend, it felt especially meaningful to be surrounded by strong, dedicated women in leadership and inspiring women in politics like Colleen who continue to step forward to serve our communities.
I had the BEST time celebrating with Colleen James and the Kitchener Centre Liberals at their Volunteer Appreciation Night.
Looking forward to meaningful conversations and meeting everyone there.
If youβre attending, I hope to see you! π

That is wild!
My friend was the youngest of 3. When we graduated her old siblings were both in university. They declined her OSAP application.
Beautiful snowy day for a protest.
See you there?
Same. Someone should tell him that we also pay it back.
With all the advisors surrounding the Premier, it is concerning that he does not understand how OSAP works.
As someone who benefited from OSAP, I appreciate the media for attempting to educate him on the subject.

I've set up a recurring appointment for myself to call the office of the Ontario premier to politely complain about one decision a week. You could do the same. There are so many issues. It takes 5 minutes. 416-325-1941

I heard about this on IG that week but did not understand it well. This Part 1&2 got me up to speed. Thank you!
Yup :(
Since you've got his attention, can you ask where the pandemic funds went? :)
Doug Allan, senior CUPE researcher and author of the report, says Ontario funds and staffs its hospitals at the lowest rate in Canada, and would need to add 48,000 hospital staff just to meet the national average.

A report by Ontarioβs Financial Accountability Office warns this could mean 9,000 fewer nurses and PSWs across the health care system by 2027β28. Already, about 1,000 hospital jobs are being cut in North Bay, Hamilton, Ottawa, Niagara and the Greater Toronto Area.
