Progress on a piece I call “bread”, which is going to be my first time using my blender knowledge for my illustrations. Usually I just used it to make tanks (yes, the ones with cannons) but never thought to cross both my illustrations and blender 3D. Exciting!

luigi stands in fortress level 1-3 from super mario brothers 3. podoboos jump around him and a flying disc circles as he considers his precarious situation on the blocks above a sea of lava. Dry bones walks in the farther area below a ? block. you can totally get a warp whistle if you fly up above that area, ever see The Wizard? it was a commercial for nintendo but it gave US audiences the first taste of smb3 gameplay and this area was featured.
