In the last day of the #IHW2025 Josi Schenk funded by @resist-cluster.bsky.social gave a great explanation on how VZV modulates One Carbon metabolism in epithelial cells. Inhibition of this pathway blocked VZV, HSV-1 and HSV-2 infection, providing novel ways to target these viruses
