"Assemble the Board of Peace - I'm starting a war".
The entire Democratic strategy debate — "moderate" or move left? fight or compromise? — is based on a misreading of data. Voters don't think Dems are too progressive; they think Dems are weak. The actual math on what to do about this isn't even close!

The commitment to neutrality makes a lot of sense if your are in a system where the two parties are playing by a shared set of small L liberal rules, but we're simply not in that world at the moment. You cannot be neutral about the question of "should you be allowed to exist?"

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us. He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
He really is doing all of it.
This should be the baseline energy from every Democrat. This should be the least angry they ever get to be. This should be the nicest language they ever use in reference to Republicans. If you can't do *at least* this, retire or get yourself retired.
