Educational publishing (small press) peak was 2005 - over 90% have closed. Over 2500 teacher supply stores then, about 200 left now. Lost my job in Nov (company closed) after 28 years there / 35 in industry.
If it’s true that the United States bombed an elementary school and killed scores of children it is an unfathomable crime. I have never been more disgusted to be an American.
At least it was different. "Esther of wood resin" was one of the ingredients IIRC and yeah, that was pretty much the taste. Not the greatest couple years of my life, and OK was part of that.

Got to watch her work at the State Fair a few years ago. Super sharp, multi-tasker, still able to focus on the person in front of her whether a kid or a senior while her phone was going off. Fully confident she'll do right by us!

Minnesota right now is both incredibly strong at the neighborhood and community level and absolutely beat to all hell. And kind of broke. People are close to eviction and other people are digging deep to help them.
Cutting off Medicaid to this deeply hurting population is so cruel and vengeful.
I live in Minnesota and I want the federal government to stop trying to kill us. And hurt us. I want them to stop attacking us.
