Trash-strewn alley, abandoned houses

…with an emergency c-section, and possibly the two (maybe) surviving kittens.

But we need your help to cover the surgery, and any further care - and for so, so many other street kitties like her; out of the 13 (!) cats pulled from that alley, at least one of the others is… 4/6

…but the news was chilling. Two of her babies had died inside her; her body was desperately laboring to deliver them and the live ones, but one of the corpses was blocking the way. 😿

They got right in touch with our Street Kitty Fund to cover an emergency vet visit, which we immediately approved. And through it all, this girl was nothing but sweetness and purrs, even being examined at the vet…. 2/6

When some amazing rescuers scooped this fluffy, friendly cat up from a Baltimore alley yesterday, they thought she was just really pregnant. But it soon became clear that something was very, very wrong… 1/6

Setzer is such a nice, nice boy. He is anxious about leaving the safe space of my office but he very politely greeted one of our resident cats before she hissed at him and scared him off, so I think there’s a good chance he can coexist with other cats who are aren’t jerks lol.

Peter the cat curled up in his cat bed. He is an orange and white, 12 year old cat and a very distinguished gentleman.

Another rainy day? Another day of snoozing in bed for Peter! 😺🌧️

At 12 years old, Peter knows the best cure for a gloomy day is a cozy bed, a snuggle with a volunteer and some crunchy cat treats!
