Last night, my motion urging Circular Materials and Emterra to improve recycling collection and simplify communications passed unanimously. Thanks to all my Council colleagues for their support.

Happy Family Day.
I've decided to share my favourite Dad joke.
How do you organize an outer space party?
.....
You planet.

Snow days?! When I was kid we didn't have snow days. I used to have walk uphill to school, both ways, and hop on one foot to keep the other foot warm.
Could January stop Januarying please?
I've received a number of emails and questions about changes to Kingstonβs recycling system.
To be clear, this was NOT City led, or directed. These changes, giving operations to Emterra and Circular Materials, were mandated by the Ford government.
The Stranger Things series finale was both strange and had things.
10/10
On a scale of Breaking Bad to Game of Thrones, how did Stranger Things end?
Well, this is disappointing.
Kingston is in for a bit of a weather roller coaster the next 24 hours. Please exercise caution when travelling and expect delays. The on-street parking ban is in effect.
Public Works will be working to clean up, but please be patient as it may take time.
Stay safe out there!
Merry Christmas
It's been a season of service. Proud to volunteer throughout the community this holiday season.
Have a great winter solstice. Brighter days are literally all ahead.

"What have you done?"
Great question. I've added a list to my website of accomplishments I've done for the district and Council has accomplished to make the City a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Check it out. I'll be adding more!

It's not Sunday without a trip to the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market

I'm very responsive to constituents.
Today the City of Kingston received $3.2 million from the province's Building Faster Fund for exceeding our housing targets. This money will be put to good use expanding and repairing our infrastructure.
Last night, City Council approved a $250,000 grant along with a $1.5 million interest free loan to assist the Kingston Food Bank- Partners in Mission . The need has never been greater. If you have the ability to donate, please do so here.

Over the next 10 years, the City of Kingston aims to improve the #accessibility of #playgrounds throughout the city by launching a new Playground Accessibility Plan. #YGK
The City is seeking public input to help shape that plan. Details here: www.kingstonist.com/news/city-of...
I'd ask for the community's compassion, understanding and patience during this time until services return to normal.
Happy Easter
Just a friendly reminder, with the English federal debate tonight, debates don't matter, unless they do. And sometimes they matter a lot, and sometimes not at all.
I hope this clarifies things. π§
They must have really interesting dinner conversations.
A constituent stopped by and dropped off a gift. Absolutely hilarious. Thank you!
