Absolutely this. I’m glad to see a ceasefire but from where I am sitting it’s more about establishing control of the area, while avoiding accountability. That cannot be allowed to happen.
This! The US vetoed the UN 6 times over a ceasefire proposal! 6 times, then Trump makes a ceasefire deal which put the US and those complicit in the g-side setting the terms 🤷♂️

This is 100% accurate (sadly). I don’t see how it can be achieved with Netanyahu still in charge, and with Trump overseeing it. Very happy to be wrong and would love to see a lasting peace but I just don’t see it.
