Heads up - several of the bluesky apps that have been around for a year are not renewing their domain names & are either moving or closing down.
Check your bookmarks since they could become scam sites? @skyline.gay is another that's moving.

Ahh yes - they don't auto update; a share link is basically just a link to install a copy of someone else's feed. Would you rather it only installs once & then you get the person's changes forever?

Trying out @skyline.gay by @louis02x.com. It allows for custom algorithms and lists! It also allows for sharing your algorithms & lists and I can see it developing into a marketplace in the near future. The match/relevance percentage feature is also kinda neat.
They're held client side but soon we'll launch syncing, so they'll be backed up in our DB at some point. And uh... user by user 😬 As far as I can tell there's no better API yet 👀

P.S. be careful with loading lists too many times in a row! Bluesky will block you for 5 minutes if they see too much traffic 😂 Just keep your lists < 100 people, and don't refresh them all the time - you should be fine.
Should note this is still in beta! There might be bugs - you can help out a ton by creating different lists & just @-ing me if something breaks 🙏
