If you're going to the trouble of replying, please actually reply to the person who you want to engage. Not little 'ol me from rural England who doesn't want big orange manbaby stuff polluting his timeline. Thanks.

If I were you I'd ask that question of the right Bruce Little, 'cos the OP ain't me
The big camera shot of midsummer sunrise from Pinnacle Hill on the Malverns
#summersolstice #malverns #themalverns #sunrise #midsummet #malvern
Good midsummer morning from a peaceful Pinnacle Hill on the Malverns. Still don't have the place to myself but it'll be more peaceful than Midsummer Hill a mile or two to the south
We were there at about 12-1, over lunchtime.
No. We were in town to get the boys new shoes and nipped in afterwards. I've been an admirer of Ravillious for a while now. Just wish there was a large format book of his prints to buy.
Agree. Absolutely fantastic. Went there today. Some of the prints were goosebump worthy
After a somewhat testing week, to be out on #dartmoor in one of my favorite areas - Gidleigh Common - was food for the soul. The silence, the freshness, the #apricity. Here are a couple of handheld shots given the unsubtle B&W treatment from Rippator/Rival Tor

Thanks Malcolm. I have to admit I'm pleased with it. I normally struggle from there but the conditions definitely helped
Cheers Giselle
I hope you can get back up them again. The route from British Camp car park to broad down is fairly good going on gentleish slopes
I grew up in their shadow but never really explored them until I left Worcestershire.
One of my fave places
Thanks Melanie
Cheers Lee. It was a lovely morning - crisp, refreshing and wonderful views all around.
Thanks very much. I love the Malverns in weather like this. No two mornings are the same.
I think I agree. There are very few, if any, dark blacks in the image (mainly in the very little amount of foreground bracken). As a result, the image is less contrasty than a lot of mine and I'm very happy with it
Its' one of my favourite views in the Malverns. I have to say I was very very happy with the conditions that morning.

Cheers David. In the composition preview window on my phone it had cropped it, but it's fine once posted.
Panoramic view of hills in fog
I'm not sure how this platform handles panoramas but here is my final shot of the Malverns from Saturday's glorious early morning walk.
Minimalist photo of the sun rising above a fog layer
First big camera shot from this morning on the Malvern Hills. I was looking elsewhere and turned around to see the sun breaking the horizon. It would have been rude not to try this

A phone snap from a beautiful but challenging morning on the Malvern Hills. Packing up now to get some breakfast. Here's hoping the "big camera" photos are up to scratch.
Silhouetted trees in warm light in open heathland
To kick off my 2025 account here's a shot from a walk on Woodbury Common in East Devon on my last day off work. It was a lovely morning to be out in the frost and largely subtle light conditions. I couldn't help taking this though, which is somewhat less subtle.
I'm struggling in my "guess where that was taken from" game. Is there a military hut at Great Links? Looks like Amicombe Hill in the mid distance and Fur on the horizon
It was a great afternoon. Slightly torn TBH as we were there with my mum who loves the moor but can't walk very far at all now. I'd have loved to have gone up, say, Sheep's Tor or Kings Tor but couldn't. However the main reason was to take mum to the moor so mission accomplished in great conditions.
As someone who is a far better photographer than me often says, "the best camera is the one you have on you". Well, here are some phone snaps from #dartmoor this afternoon. Got above the murk and saw a weak #fogbow to boot.
Scots pine tree silhouetted against a sunrise on open heathland
Today is all about cooking prep for Christmas and a trip to Worcestershire and back to pick up mum. However, as sunrise is conveniently late and Woodbury Common is less than 10 minutes drive from home, I thought I'd nip up to one of my favourite trees for sunrise. #eastdevon #devon
Silhouetted tree branches framing the Scots pine treeline at Budleigh Salterton
It's the first day of the Christmas break for me and I fancied a coastal sunrise. It was a little muted and "meh" to be honest, or maybe my heart just wasn't in it. Anyway, after sun up, I went for a wander and found a new shot of the Budleigh trees.
