Very true.. the kids say 30 is old, but truth is, your 60’s are great for travel if you don’t have any serious health things going on. People retire at 65 then take all the road trips/ cruises! 😹 Heck, my grandparents are about to be 91 and they STILL travel regularly! True story!

Exactly! Solar eclipse lighting is beautiful eerie even just on partial eclipses.
That’s exactly how sister feels! She doesn’t want to be too old if she has to travel to it or something. 😅 Same with Halley’s Comet. Sister has always wanted to see it but it won’t be here for 35 more years. 🥲

Aw, can’t beat yourself up over it. Sometimes you have to take care of you! Sister’s pretty much number one bucket list item is to see a total solar eclipse. She never has.
Our next ones are in 18-19 YEARS. 😿

We almost always have too many clouds to see anything. Lunar eclipses, solar eclipses, anything major and exciting. That’s the worst part, being prepared and then thick clouds. 😔
I’ll keep at ear out for a sooner eclipse.. maybe what I saw was wrong. I’ll let you know if I find out!

Three cats that look almost identical have found my yard! We are not sure where the other two are from, but one is definitely the next door neighbor’s cat.

Funny story about the neighbor cat that I just posted… mom had a suspicion that there were two cats that looked the same because the cat was always in our yard but looked a little different sometimes. Well, a couple days ago it was confirmed, she saw them both at the same time and then…a THIRD! 😹

The neighbor kitty is on my porch again. Sister says be nice to her, all her siblings are big Dalmatians and she doesn’t have a pretty, calm, cat-friendly backyard because of that. But I’m still not sold on it. 😾

Aw, I’m sorry to hear that! Looks like the next full lunar eclipse will be December, 31, 2028. 😕 But a New Years Eve full eclipse will be wild!!
The next lunar eclipse (partial) will be this August 28th!

Eclipse update: We didn’t see it. The clouds rolled in right on cue. 😹 Sister didn’t see it either because of clouds.
