I think Kobe’s shtick (the MJ cosplay / alpha / iso / sociopath workout stuff) really narrowed a whole generation’s idea of what a superstar had to look & play like. Nico is a Kobe guy — so Luka (despite mountains of on-court evidence) just didn’t SEEM like an A+ superstar. Failure of imagination 🤷♂️
