Absolutely! I am sure your local public library branch has a โfriends of the libraryโ type group that does volunteer work for the library. Or if you want to get super picky you can volunteer at some special collections like museums and science centers which all tend to have volunteer programs.
I would say volunteer in something youโre interested in and passionate about and then you will have at least one thing in common on a fundamental level.
Then, if it doesnโt work out, at least you did something you would want to do anyway. Win win. Librarianโs love volunteers if you canโt tell. ๐
Best way to meet them is volunteering. Do good and good comes back with a nice date sometimes! ๐

Beautiful
The way dementia takes away a person you love, starting with their mind, is awful. Itโs difficult, but so important, as Dementia Man says, to continue to show them love and compassion.
Happy #Valentineโs Day! What might someone with #dementia want their #caregivers to know about their care? One of my favorite guests, Dementia Man, says to love them. I am remembering this today on the day of love.

While these biomarkers show promise, they currently serve as auxiliary tools and cannot replace comprehensive diagnostic assessments or neuropsychological evaluations. Dementia is defined as functional AND cognitive impairment, not a gene or blood test.
Emerging Blood Biomarkers for Alzheimer's Diagnosis
Alzheimer's disease (AD) poses significant global health challenges, necessitating early and accessible diagnostic methods. This review shows the potential of (BBMs) as a less invasive alternative to traditional methods like lumbar puncture. ๐งต

One of the best parts of 2025 for me has been watching pediatric neurologist Maria Xiang develop her art, her vision, her life.
May you find your mountains and paint them.

I would say that if they had been in a healthy relationship then the aliens would have brought them closer together. The mashed potatoes thing would have been a red flag that the man was really bothered and needed support. They should have built the diorama together as a couple, lol. #marriagegoals
