These are gorgeous! I've held off on developing a full-blown Lego habit so far, but I think this might be the thing that tips me over the edge.
Someone has pitched functional presses to Lego, which they'll produce if they get enough votes. So you could potentially have a full Lego workflow for printing, using flat pieces (www.reddit.com/r/printmakin...) for the type and then the press itself.

I would love to know more about the svg->stl step! That's where I always stumble in this process and haven't figured out a good way to reliably move more complicated designs into a usable STL format.
