Yup. Mine took the coward's way out by announcing retirement after the last time he caved. Not surprised he caved again. He then put out a giant wall of text to try to explain his failure. My only point is why didn't he just step aside after the first time.
Fully immersing in the culture you're visiting is actually the most awesome of things!
This is for sure part of the plan. Drive the individual farmers/ranchers into bankruptcy so the big corporations can buy them all out.

Today marks four years since Leukemia took my soulmate, MaryPat. Miss her every minute of every day. 💚☘️

Seeing this right after taking my trip of introspection to MaryPat's homeland of Ireland, my first time back without her, this episode is a full on gut punch for me. Even in rewatching it, still hits so very hard. 😭
We lived every minute of the following 31 years together, every day was a gift as we didn't know if there would be a next one. Very much like the gift Marie gave both of them. For the two of us, those 31 years was its own time. 💚☘️

The leukemia that took MaryPat nearly four years ago wasn't the first. The actual first was a very rough battle of Ovarian stage 2 that we did win a long time ago. At a price. No kids, and a loss of innocence. Made us aware that our time was limited, a lot like Pike.

No matter what that future may hold, I will stand with you and so many others in our community, to the end of the line.
Done, interesting note, I’m in one of 65&over places. Was immediately handed a three page list of the ‘qualifying conditions’ to get it anyhow. If anyone gets a no look into it, many many options to get it anyhow.
