There are essential repair works at Hawk’s Cliff Swimming Place (Vico Baths) beginning Monday, 2 March. The works are expected to take approximately 13 weeks, though timelines may vary depending on weather conditions and tidal access.

The 2026 St Patrick’s Day Parade was launched at the Dún Laoghaire Baths with St Patrick himself! The parade returns for its 3rd year on 17 March at 11am, running from Islington Ave to Marine Road, with 50+ groups bringing colour, music and energy to the seafront.

The East Pier, Dún Laoghaire is currently closed due to wave overtopping.

Some overtopping is possible tomorrow morning at Newtownsmith and Bullock Harbour.
Works are due to be completed on the wall by Irish Rail over the next few weeks. Following that, the path will be repaired.
🚧 Barnaslingan Lane Update
Barnaslingan Lane will close to vehicles from 16 Feb 2026 as part of the Glenamuck District Roads Scheme. Pedestrian & cyclist access stays open. A temporary diversion will be in place.
