Our #UMAP2025 paper contains implications for:

1️⃣ Graph literacy aware adaptive nudges and dashboards.
2️⃣ Combining nudges to maximise their effect.
3️⃣ Using customisations to build user models.

Although the nudges did not significantly increase customisation uptake, some of them improved overall usability, particularly for users with low to moderate graph literacy. Interestingly, for users with high graph literacy, these same nudges had a detrimental effect #UMAP2025

Our previous work shows that while customisation can enhance dashboard usability, users are often reluctant to engage with it. In our latest #UMAP2025 paper, we report an experiment with five nudging strategies designed to persuade users to use customisations
