Missed the NLD yesterday as the kids were on stage at His Majestyβs Theatre.
Probably the best possible distraction. Proud Dad.
Fun
Ahahaha I did Sultans of Swing along with some Squeeze and Chas & Daveβ¦definitely earned the thumb blister but Money for Nothin doesnβt lend itself as well to acoustic guitar unfortunately!
First gig in three years - take that, thumb πΈ
So proud of how we played in that second half
Converting my undecided-but-heavily-gooner-leaning nephew step by step
Iβve only managed 3 eps so far since this thread but am really enjoying so far - glad to hear it continues in that vein!
It reminds me of a Gary Doherty-type goal

Steve is absolutely not on the Tavistock Board and itβs totally inaccurate to say so. The Telegraph have updated their incorrect article to reflect this and will be issuing a correction notice/apology
I was buzzing when I woke up today and had a real feeling things were about to turn around and we were going to be in for a real performance. Oh well π«

Nope, losing interest in international football more and more every year (and the bar was pretty low to start with).
Well Train Dreams has hit me harder in the feels than anything Iβve seen in a long time

Very sad news about Chiv and a complete shock to everyone. Top player and person and very much a big game player as proven by his goals. Most people think of the Wolves UEFA Final, for some reason I always remember his two goals in an away win against Leeds in intimidating circumstances.
It was Villa last time we wore a 125th anniversary commemorative shirt as well...would take another 4-4 tomorrow (so long as we then clinch in extra time)
The saddest news :( RIP Big Chiv - I was too young to see him play but got to know him over the last ten years and only saw him a couple of weeks ago, such a nice man. This is Micky Hazard and I helping him set up his Twitter account about 7 years ago now.
A rare brotherly-fatherly moment. Happy new year friends π
Been on my list for a good while now - will get at straight into it in 2026
I had one next to Peter Gabriel ππ»
