You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.
This iteration of the court seems more and more antithetical to the very ideas of justice and the Constitution it is supposed to serveβ¦
1000% this.
He said he canβt. Because it wouldnβt pass the Senate & if it did, it wouldnβt pass the House & if it did, it would get vetoed & itβd just be a big distraction.
If they donβt fight against tariffs, even when they know itβs hurting their constituents, then what the hell are they doing in Congress?
Exactly.
Terrifyingβ¦
I have believed this for about ten years:
ThΓ© US is a nation of boiling frogs.
And if the voting public draws the line at nothing, soon enough, the person those voters empower to lead the country will also:
Draw. The. Line. At. Nothing.
If the govβt mistakenly disappears the wrong person (though clearly govβt couldnβt care less if βmistakesβ are made), the court shrugs.
Will the court allow for literally anyone on US soil to be disappeared? while govβt goes βwhoopsβ & does nothing to remedy the situation
My, how the US has fallen
The biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.
And no one is talking about it.
He retains power only because of his supporters, many of whom are impervious to facts.
He is terrorizing the country & the world, yet he is only allowed to terrorize because Congress is letting it happen.
If his support cratered, Congress would magically find its spine. Hence, the end of his reign.
What happens when facts donβt matter.

Elonβs companies and Trumpβs golf course.
Thatβs all.
Businesses need a stable government, rule of law and a level playing field in order to thrive. Not a place where you have to grovel to the regime and your competitors can pay for favors. No one is going to expand business in US. Instead, businesses will go to other countries with stable democracies.
One positive thing to take from the last few years of politics is that there almost certainly *isn't* a secret cabal of Illuminati running the world behind the scenes. And if there is, they're not very hands-on with it.
Whenever a Democratic president takes over again, he/she needs to immediately reform the Supreme Court & then argue against the Citizens United Super PAC decision, as well as argue for personal contribution limits to your own campaign.
This.
Terrifying policies.
Terrible optics.
But that doesnβt seem to matter to him.
Like, at all.

Dear Hollywood,
Do that.
Please.
I just copied this from another reply to a different question, but same damned answer:
The answer:
Congress. Is. The. Problem.
The majority are do-nothing know-nothings w/ their thumbs up their asses watching while he sets fire to the country, the planet & the world economy.
Pathetic.
Nothing theyβre doing is legal. The question is, how are they able to continually do illegal/unconstitutional things? The answer: Congress. The majority are do-nothing know-nothings w/ their thumbs up their asses watching while he sets fire to the country, the planet & the world economy.
Pathetic.
I had never heard the phrase βdonβt let perfect be the enemy of goodβ until recently.
But itβs never been more relevant.
Apparently, anti-woke just means pro-asshole.
It is truly mind numbing the shenanigans they pull just to avoid holding him accountable for anything ever.

I would love for you to be correct but I fear the damage is done: America is no longer a reliable partner. Full stop.
