Without thumbs, he can only nap his screen to text as best as he can. For the first time, he feels understood. —— There once was a wolf, believe it or not,
With floppy grey ears and a snout like a blot.
But what made him so strange, if you count all his claws,
Instead of two hands, he was born with two paws

It should have been me

The wolf is sitting, its large head craning down to hold the coyote close in its fur. It's making eye contact with the coyote. There are words in the top and bottom of the piece that read "Little Coyote, Little Coyote, What do you see?" "I see a big wolf looking at me." The artwork is loose and painterly and though it doesn't fit the collage style of Eric Carle to a T, it is vaguely inspired by his work, hence the captions in line with the Iconic book he illustrated.
