I agree. There’s always been a connection between art and how we understand the world. Finding that overlap again feels important.

Working at that scale brings a different kind of focus. It’s interesting how much the process changes when the canvas gets larger.

I know I’ve been a little quieter than usual lately. Since the beginning of January, I’ve been fully immersed in a very large painting that’s taken a lot of focus and steady work. I’m aiming to have it finished by the end of February, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you soon.

It’s a painting. I did a couple years ago. I wanted to do one of a coastal scene specifically the East Coast of Canada. It’s not an actual real place, but it could represent a number of different places.
