Jonas is a fantastic JM candidate and colleague. I’ll miss the “5-minute?” chats that turned into great ideas and the good vibes he brings every morning.
If you’re looking at JM applications, don’t skip his: Whoever gets him as a colleague will be very lucky 💫
My amazing co-author Elena Herold @elenahero8.bsky.social is on the job market ✨
She is a great researcher and a great person to work with!
Our paper "Should we stay or should we go?" has been nominated for the ONS People’s Choice Award!
Shall we win it or shall we lose? Totally up to you - but here’s the link to vote 😉

"what a surprisingly re-appearance" 😂
What a Monday morning: first VoxEu, grant accepted, endorphin levels still high from Princeton half marathon.
Truth is, after a great Monday, an awful one is approaching 😂

4. Keep your non-academic friends close. They will remind you that life is much more than the JM
5. Enjoy the whole process
6. Celebrate every success, even if you think it is "nothing really"
Good luck!

With JM interviews approaching, I just want to remind to JMCs:
1. You will have a job at the end
2. Stay away from EJMR
3. The person you are has nothing to do with the number of interviews you have (do not ask the question /avoid peers asking this question)
