Looking forward to your book! I've always been a voracious reader, but in '23, I challenged myself to read outside my typical genres. Such a great decision! I now devour all sorts of books, esp non fiction, that I never would've picked up before. I'm 21 books into this yr. & 9 have been non fiction.
A holy war in the middle east has been the intention of the religious right for 50+ yrs. They spoon-feed supremacy & "prophecies" by religious & cultural patriarchy & Nostradamus documentaries. They literally sacrificed GIRLS at the start of the month of the god of war on a blood moon eclipse, ffs.
Art is what we call...the thing an artist does. It's not the medium or the oil or the price or whether it hangs on a wall or you eat it. What matters, what makes it art, is that the person who made it overcame the resistance, ignored the voice of doubt and made something worth making. Something risky. Something human. Art is not in the ...eye of the beholder. It's in the soul of the artist. Seth Godin LIKESUCCESS.com

Keeper of the Flame - A film from 1942 warning Americans how democracy can be dismantled from the inside. This scene was written during World War II. Watch how calmly the plan is explained. Ask yourself why it still feels current today.
