I think to combat this is to introduce some fun visuals, throw in some fun humor or conflict. Been playing the original Animal Crossing and I love that some of the villagers are just mean to you in a funny way. It’s good to have a bit of conflict!
I think that’s why I always encourage interesting or odd games. To me stuff like Katamari and Hylics are cozy in their own sense. I guess it depends on how we define cozy? But yeah the aesthetic has for sure focused on that tradwife friendly community sim.

Aw thanks! Yeah I try to check stuff out to see what people think. But I limit my social media to an extent for my own mental health. Sometimes with art it’s also very subjective. There’s things that are bugs and others that are aesthetic differences. 🤷
