I third this advice but with the caveat that doctor should try to avoid making it sound like you have adverse effects from the generic and it’s more a matter of the brand working better for you. B/c if you can’t find brand anywhere due to shortages then generic is better than nothing tbh
I feel your pain. I just spent most of my weekend trying to locate my adhd meds at various pharmacies and the disdainful voices of the pharmacy technicians made it clear they were rolling their eyes at me because they didn’t give a fvck about me or my medicine. I hate having adhd
Eff off. I don’t just need this medicine to focus on work. I need it to be able to engage in hobbies and be a less impulsive, hyperactive human being in general. So yeah, I might not die immediately without it, but my quality of life sucks (for me and those around me) when I can’t find it.
The worst part of never being able to find my adhd medication in stock is how I feel like I call around these different pharmacies and the people I talk to treat me like it doesn’t matter whatsoever that my ADHD medicine is not a stock cause I don’t really need to survive anyway. well guess what?
