Once you start looking it can be quite addictive. I only discovered the names of my great grandparents yesterday. I happened to search the name of my grandmother who died in 1943 and someone had photographed her grave which had information on it I didn't know.

My grandfather did my father's side of the family - or at least his own side (not my grandmother's family) going back a couple of hundred years when they first came to Australia but I never saw it all. I know mainly the basics my dad told us.
No as it was generations ago but my name is Welsh enough that when we visited Cardiff when I was a teenager the hotel clerk greeted my father with "welcome home Mr ..." 😁
Being of Welsh ancestry I am very happy to nosh down on those, HQ.
