π π Very good!
So fascinating to see them so closely stood together and aligned. π€π€
Oh well done Heroneer Helen! That's a wonderful little scene. π
Am convinced that a few hundred years ago most Grey Herons were hatched and raised this way, safe out in the marshes.

Belcarra coat of arms
The jackdaw, perched on the shield, reminds us that we share our world with many living creatures. In Belcarra village we are proud to have a historic rookery where several hundred rooks and jackdaws spend the night. The village Motto "Ar scΓ‘th a cheile" is an abbreviated rendering of "Ar scΓ‘th a cheile a mhaireann na daoine" - a well known Irish proverb which stresses neighbourliness, and reminds us that we all depend on one another
Perhaps one day it will stand alongside the jackdaw on the coat of arms, included tlto acknowledge the many living things we share our world with, depend upon. ππ 3/3

Fabulous. Though at first I thought the beak got all the way to here π
I'm guessing some sort of Heron dimension in which portrait transforms through some complex geometry to landscape

Lovely.
Jealous? Every? Yes!

I thought I completely ruined it at one point, but I managed to fix it somehow. I love the color blue, so I might have used it too much.

It's a lovely angle. Full of character. π
Grey Heron reach peak Good Looks at the moment they mate. As the chicks are born, and the hard work of filling them up with Fish Gloop starts, looks take a backseat.
