Not many people know that one of my first true cult movie obsessions was HIGHLANDER, which opened 40 years ago today. The immortal drama. The Queen soundtrack. Clancy Brown serving grandiose villainy. My love of this film was formative and my admiration for its unapologetic audacity still runs deep.

RealReal reopened its SF store & kept the dressing rooms. My giant image is still there! As 7x7 put it, the dressing rooms remain their “favorite feature,” w/ life-size images of SF icons Peaches Christ & the SF Twins.
So it’s confirmed. I’m still there to watch you get naked.

Tom Noonan's quiet countenance not only made him a character actor with near chameleon-like prowess, but allowed him to excel in genre fare as the imposing, occasionally sympathetic, other. His work in MANHUNTER, THE MONSTER SQUAD, WOLFEN, and so many more was exceptional. A true journeyman artist.
