In case you are unfamiliar with this animation: it was created by Hideaki Anno, Hiroyuki Yamaga, and Takami Akai in 1981 for the Daicon III festival (they will also make the Daicon IV opening).
And a few years later, these three young men (at the time) co-founded the Gainax studio.

i always favor an OC rather than an actor in games. give me a JRPG w/ this style & i def check it out.
