Today I Will Look The Burrito Man In The Eye and other stories of manifesting success
for like 2+ years I've been religiously obsessed with this everytime it comes around I obsessively watch it on loop, to the point that I just started paying it, my dog was sleeping, woke up groaned and went to sleep on another room.
man looks like they made a Frankenstein out of a whole anime club
The House Committee on Energy and Commerce passed the Kids Act, a mix of KOSA, Screen Act, and several other ID/facescan verification bills. There is still time before a final vote in the House, as well as a Senate version. Please use this link to call your Senators and Representatives to vote no.
Shelved by Genre and Just King Things are great dives into various genre literature and Stephen King's works. SBG is doing a year of Tolkein right now!
Does he like podcasts?
For RPG review and joking around, I like System Mastery (and their movie review pod, Movie Mastery, and their Star Wars novel readalong, Expounded Universe)
He fired Kristi Noem while she is speaking live. Lmao
this is something I see so few people grapple with. Every instance of supposed rogue behavior in LLMs can be explained by the fact that their training data included thousands of science fiction stories. "omg it's acting just like an AI in a sci fi novel" yeah no shit moron
This is bad, and part of what makes it so bad is that this is clearly pulling from *genre* understandings of reality, which the statistical linguistic machine seemingly cannot distinguish from other text included in the training data. Truly an ideology machine where every episode of CSI is true.
Haha oh wow

Anyways.
They killed 180 children and their teachers in a double-tap strike on a school. The girls were 7 to 12 years old.

I keep seeing posts about ai models like "actually they're good at this thing now!"
but once you understand that ai tools are being built by fascists in service of attacks on humanity, whether or not they can generate useable code or do basic searches kind of stops being the main question
An unfortunate effect of Concord imploding so badly is it made people online even more excited and hopeful that games they're not interested in crash and burn.
It took very little time after Highguard's first announcement for me to find the way people were talking about it very uncomfortable.

for those of you who werent adults during iraq, its hard to overstate how much the media loves war porn. they salivate over pentagon spin briefings. they love stories about all the bombs and how supposedly infallible they are. they love the notion of the commander in chief, in the situation room etc
After 9 yeareals, it's finally my turn to post the "a thousand cereals" clip, seeing as how I'm the idiot who made it.
This bit in the From Russia With Love game made me laugh out loud. You've got a fairly grounded, low key fight based on the one in the movie, then the most video game looking fucker of all time slides into frame.
okay one more
I played through Echoes a month ago after a six year hiatus from my original Outer Wilds playthrough. Itβs so good. Really sick puzzles and storyline.
