How do I do this in Excel? I ask myself. And the answer is always Pivot Table
Exactly! But I have to highlight them too because Iβm still afraid I will leave one in
I do the same!
I am involved in this field school so I am biased but: anthropology.uga.edu/archaeology-...

"By providing a basis for in-context exploration of Jordanian cultural heritage to Arabic-speaking Jordanians and students of archaeology, we aim to expand the accessibility of archaeological data and interpretation beyond its usual bounds."
New blog post, up now!

oof, I donβt think thereβs a great solution for archiving besides downloading models and copying text. I donβt think any corporate platform will be stable/reliable long term, but one good example is the Visualizing Votive Practice project, which both posted on Sketchfab and archived on OpenContext
IMO the details are pretty unclear but definitely concerning for Sketchfabβs future as a place to host/access free 3D cultural heritage content. But for any individual project (such as this one), it shouldnβt be too upsetting-we always knew Sketchfab was never going to be a long term stable archive
for anyone counting, one of the WSU students is Jordanian!
I was really excited to co-author this blog post with three Jordanian colleagues and two Wichita State students!

updated GIS methods can save money too though. For example, Field Maps STP forms -> interactive dashboard/map can be fully automated in advance and not require manual mapmaking for every project

ASOR President Sharon Herbert and Executive Director Andrew Vaughn invite you to a virtual conversation about ASORβs continuing efforts to address recent global actions impacting access, inclusion, and cultural heritage funding. This town hall meeting will be held via Zoom on Thursday, April 10th at 12:00pm EDT. You may have heard that ASORβs Committee, previously known as DEI, has proposed a new name: βThe Carolyn Midkiff Strange Committee on Growth, Innovation, and Visibility (GIV),β and we encourage you to check out its mission. This new, interim name will be used on the ASOR website until the May 2025 ASOR Board meeting when discussion and a change to the bylaws can take place. We also invite you to review the Cultural Heritage Inititiatives section of ASORβs website.
Is this a fucking joke @asor-research.bsky.social? You couldnβt send a clearer signal about how much you value diversity in this field
