Hey thanks. If I May ask, whoβs the artist you mentioned? This is from a series of personal pieces called Band of Misfits.

Trying something a little different this time.
I fully endorse this activity.
I appreciate that J. π

Thanks Alec.
Soooo many Starlings. Thanks to @katieklim.bsky.social @torbooks.bsky.social and of course TJ Klune for trusting my work for this.
Looking back, all the things I learned, when combined with the things I am good at, lead to something surprising and exciting for me and for @dalestephanos.bsky.social who commissioned this Yiayia.
I was told that a Yaiyia is strong and kind but also can be very stern. The kind of sternness that would make you think your life could be in danger until you prove that she can trust you. I also learned that when baklava is prepared properly, a sharp knife is the best way to cut it.
Occasionally I am asked if I accept private commissions. In fact, yes I do. This piece was inspired by the deep Greek roots of woman who loves to cook, focusing on the strong personality of her Yaiyia, which I learned is the Greek word for grandmother.

I am getting a bit long in the tooth.
Thanks that is very kind of you.
Respect the Baklava. #yiayia
A fly-thru of Corneliusβs set from Band of Misfits.
Thank you @reactorsff.bsky.social! Revealing at long last the cover (and existence of!) THE THREE COFFIN PROBLEM, for all you Judge Dee fans over there! Cover art by Cinthya Γlvarez! (And, if I may be so bold - pre-orders are VERY welcome!).
Bending the rules of normality, Cornelius embraced himself fully and discovered that he could reach notes previously unimagined.
#2 in the Band of Misfits series.
The opening for part one of the 68th annual exhibition @soi128.bsky.social was last Friday. I sure hated not being there to see it all in person. So many talented illustrators all in one place. Thanks to the jury for deeming my work worthy. Iβm honored.
