Lunchtime Cocktails and Rocky Road birthday treat at the Devil of Brooklyn!
Started my 50th birthday as I mean to go on - Buckβs Fizz for breakfast, cards assuming drunkenness (of course) and my husband bought me sparklers as weβll be living down south next year! #birthday
Went to The Parlour, Glasgow - our group bought the average age up by a significant amount - had cocktails, people watched and enjoyed the music!
Needed somewhere for a quick drink to kill time before our restaurant reservation! No room at The Pot Still so we chanced Rufus T Firefly, Glasgow- Rock, Metal & Punk - drinks ok, pool table and music!
A wee lunchtime pint of shandy at the Hyndland Rock in Glasgow! As a flat roofed pub so different from everything around it, I always wanted to go in, but was hoping for a more 60s/70s vibe inside! Just been done up so not sure what it was like before?
Pretty rubbish pints of Madri and a fast track (really didnβt feel like it) bar at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow - thankfully the music (Tyler Childers) made up for the very average drinks!

Great coverage of the Victoria & Commercial, Leeds in the @yorkshirepost.co.uk I really need to get over there to visit soon!
I needed this from @ladbible.bsky.social today! The thought of spring and a beer garden pint is helping me get through the terrible weather weβve been having!
Followed the Blue Bell suggestion for Sunday lunch and headed to the Whippet, York- very gastro, great food, dog friendly (front bar) and good choice of beer/drinks! #gastropub
Quick pint at the Bluebell, York - we might even follow their suggestions for Sunday lunch! #sundaypints
The pub that changed me from the @theguardian.com - I could alter the headline for me to - "My mum was a barmaid, and all I remember is red seat upholstery....":
