We thank Belgian authorities for their clear condemnation. But what is needed now is action. Belgium urgently needs a national action plan against #antisemitism, a dedicated national coordinator and the resources to implement concrete measures.
🚨 Explosion at Synagogue in Belgium 🚨
Around 4 a.m., an explosion targeted the synagogue in the Belgian city of Liège, shattering windows and damaging nearby buildings.
We are relieved that no one was injured, but the attack is a stark reminder that Jewish communities remain constant targets.
We commend Paraguay for becoming the first country to file a brief supporting Israel in the case brought by South Africa before the ICJ.
Paraguay’s leadership—together with partners like Argentina—reflects an important shift in Latin America toward stronger cooperation with the U.S. and Israel.

The Islamic Republic remains the world’s largest state sponsor of terror—fueling instability, arming proxies and threatening its neighbors. We call on all countries that maintain good relations with Israel—yet continue to sit on CEIRPP—to follow Ecuador’s strong moral leadership.
CEIRPP was created by the infamous “Zionism = Racism” U.N. General Assembly resolution of 1975. That resolution was repealed, but CEIRPP lives on, actively pushing BDS and the demonization of Israel.
We praise Ecuador’s decision to withdraw from the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP), an anti-Israel propaganda body housed within the U.N. bureaucracy.
Tonight’s State of the Union addressed issues central to B’nai B’rith’s mission: Israel’s security, Iran’s nuclear threat, combating anti-Semitism and supporting affordable housing and health care for low-income seniors.
