Audio fiction in numbers: Recording for episode 8 starts tonight. It will probably take 4 separate records over 2 weeks because it's difficult to get 7 people into a room at the same time.
There's that added layer with chronic illness as well where you count in your mind how many ways you're going to pay for an extended time sitting in the same position.
Doncaster is cursed. Once I got that far on the way to Edinburgh, then they all had to swap all the passengers on our train with another train because the other train was broken in a way that meant it could only go north.
Episode 8 is particularly packed.
I just finished editing the script for episode 8. There are horrors in Stellar Firma Live and things that get said in streams, that get excused because it's off the cuff and improvised. We have no such excuse in this scripted episode that has been written and edited by four people.
Just realised that most of the time when an episode script is too long it's because @stellartim.bsky.social has written lots of very long and incredibly specific line directions.
