The attacks against Mamdani and Bernie always make it sound like they're gonna change things over night. These are promises that may take years, but they're never gonna happen if those in power never even try. Every single government program started as an idea at some point.

They have robbed millions of Americans of life saving services and research to enrich the wealthy, empower the ICE Gestapo to disappear our neighbors, and build concentration camps in every state

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Everyone who follows me should call their Senator this morning to urge them to vote in favor of Wyden’s point of order and remove the Medicaid funding ban for transgender care from Trump’s horror bill.

- Parents can force schools to erase LGBTQ+ existence because ???

- The Court's opinion on birthright citizenship is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

- We're reverting back to the Articles of Confederation ig ??? Except our population is now 340 million and every court might be its own country.

In the same week, SCOTUS decided that defendants need to file their own suits to defend their birthright citizenship, and gutted due process for immigrants and those perceived to be immigrants to keep them from being kidnapped and sent to a 3rd party country.

Everyone running for public office needs to unequivocally say whether they support Trump’s attacks on Iran — attacks which put hundreds of millions of lives at risk.

My answer is an unequivocal NO and there’s no excuse for a candidate to say anything different.

It’s curious that the people that insisted SCOTUS would never overturn Roe v Wade and abortion rights advocates claiming otherwise were alarmists, are now the same people insisting that LGBTIQ activists’ legal strategies have been too “aggressive” in advocating for the rights of transgender people.

AOC: Being taken is wrong, it is illegal, it is a violation of his First Amendment rights, it is an affront to every American, and we will not allow—and will continue to resist—the politicization and the continued political persecution that ICE is engaged in.

I am getting multiple reports that the Trump admin is NOT complying with the court order requiring passport updates for transgender people.

Some passport agencies are being told not to give trans people passports with their correct gender marker, for now.

Centrist Democrats need a scapegoat for their own failure, and have joined Republicans in going after trans people.

It's incredibly important now that we protect gender affirming care in states without bans, and fight back against bans where they've already passed. Expect to see new anti trans healthcare bills in the next legislative cycle in your state.

Nothing sums up the state of affairs for transgender Americans quite like the US Supreme Court denying trans people life-saving healthcare at the same time that the Trump administration shuts down suicide prevention programs for LGBTQ people.
