That’s why we have to establish boundaries the first time. We can’t allow ourselves to become complacent.

Imagine complaining about something like that when there are wars being started and lives being lost. SMH.
Don’t let anyone weaponize your open-mindedness or willingness to communicate.
2025 taught me; they want you for their pleasure. They don’t want all you bring; just what they want or need when it’s convenient for them.
If you are too heavy, they won’t try to carry you. They will leave until you lighten up again.
Restrict access to those kind of people. Family & Friends
It’s not even just text-based posts. People will abscond with entire art projects — even taking the time to remove signatures and watermarks. And the “polite” ones do their “daily good deeds” by including lines like “all credit to the original artist” without actually identifying said artist.
😂😂😂 Face the corner!
Tickle my brain with a clever riddle, Lover.
Or act as the embodiment of opacity and put on your emesis gear (hey, you were warned 😅).
Is it finesse, or do you just enjoy board games?
Gazing through a window with two eyes that do not see, how germane, correct, or honest can you truly claim to be?
Informed is he who humbly presupposes he is wrong; a self-indulgent know-it-all won’t hold an ear for long.

You ever look at someone and wish there was a person inside?
Today I woke up very aware of time and the fleeting nature of most things (good or bad).
So many things I usually overlook are glaring at me like headlights noticed a split-second too late.
And in the center of it all … an all-too-familiar song.
“Can you see, or do you rely on your eyes?”
photo of a street sign. text reads: I WISH AMERICA LOVED BLACK PEOPLE THE WAY THEY LOVE BLACK CULTURE
*the rest of the world
everybody likes to use our culture to get famous or get street cred or make it big but they hate us
and we just give it away
sharing is one thing but we're constantly exploited and profited off of with no get back
from music to style to slang it's all the same.

I am a person (for compatibility).
🙄😂
I just saw Gobelins’ “Niccolo.”
I was held utterly in thrall.
I’m a complete sucker for symbolism.
The creation of art is inherently vulnerable. To create is to expose the parts of yourself that people rarely get to see, even when the piece is not deliberately personal.
Simplifying (stylizing) and animating locs by hand (no computer models, particles, automated physics systems, or AI — just drawing) is a very interesting experience.
I’ve found it surprisingly intuitive. I’ll have to do it more often.
Consciously noticing your parents’ age is such a surreal experience.
Reminder I will be rooting for and supporting all Black love on my skyline once again in the new yr. I want everyone to find the love that's for them. Especially for my ppl. I'm rooting for ya know that it's in all areas of ya life 🙌🏿🖤
💜💜💜
I’ve been a bit cloistered. Had some big things to process and that gave way to an inspired, obsessive period of drawing.
How about you?
I’ve officially got artistic tunnel vision. Everything else is kind of blurry and muffled in the background. It’s kind of like being under water.
Merry Christmas & happy New Year!
I’ve got to stop being so possessive.
🫣
I want more illustrator friends. I had many peers who liked to draw when I was little, but I rarely encounter illustrators & graphic designers in my adult life (I guess we’re all inside drawing 😅).
I cross paths with musicians & writers in spades. I guess ppl are more likely to grow out of drawing.
Better that the heart should hurt for that which reaches back in earnest, my Dear Friend.

How bitterly I had hoped that you would never again become poetry.
“Necile” came to mind immediately.
Reading it in her voice is the best laugh I’ve had today. 😭😭😭
It would certainly appear so. 😞
It’s apparently OK to shoot unarmed people who definitely don’t want to be shot. But consensual sex is where many see fit to draw a hard line.
It doesn’t make sense because making sense was never the point.
