My latest piece, “The Soft Side of the Dark Throne.”
Offers a rare glimpse behind the curtain of darkness. It explores how the dark lord Sauron, copes with the immense weight of power and pressure—not through conquest, but by retreating into quiet moments of solace with his beloved pets.

Yes I have a booth there and at the Kress Emporium around the corner. I’ll be at the Marquee in the river district again this summer once it is finished being rebuilt. I do have a piece with a woman and birds in a fountain. It’s called “Reborn”. Thanx for supporting my art!😊❤️

Work in progress. Doing this on hot press watercolor paper rather than my usual cold press. It’s a different animal in how it handles the paint in the way I work but I like how you can push the paint around differently than on cold press.

“Up In Arms” watercolor & ink.

As a kid, I lived in Japan for a few years, an experience filled with unforgettable memories. One that stands out is capturing Japanese stag beetles and pitting them against each other in battle. I captured that memory by bringing it to life through a pair of combatting goblin knights.

“To Heaven From Hell” watercolor & ink circa 2022. I created this for the online art group show Wowxwow “Fiends Of The Dark III”. It sold the day before the show actually opened to the public. It was also juried into the fantasy awards book Infected By Art.

My first piece of art in 2023 “Wings Of A New Dawn” pen & ink. This was also the first one after having major surgery where 18 inches of my intestines were taken out.
Sadly the original was lost during Hurricane Helene in Asheville along with many other works of art and merchandise of mine.

I’m thrilled to announce that I have been once again been accepted into the fantasy awards book Infected By Art! 2 works of my art A Chivalrous Victory Of Sorts and Embracing Echoes Of A Distant Dream got in! It is a real honor to be included once again with such an amazing group of artists!

Just a reminder that I will be set up this Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM at the Grove arcade in downtown Asheville for a pop-up market for artists like myself that were in the Marquee gallery in the River Arts District that got flooded out in Hurricane Helene.

My entire gallery space at The Marquee art gallery in the River Arts District was washed away during hurricane Helene. One of the original pieces destroyed in the hurricane is this one “God Starts All Over And Tries Again” 2023. I guess Helene got to it before it could find its forever home.
