I know that Donald Trump and Brian Fitzpatrick talk about making America great again but I don't know what Americans they are focusing on except for the billionaires.

Brian Fitzpatrick failed us on healthcare costs. He's responsible for massive cuts to Medicaid, Fitzpatrick failed to extend the ACA tax credits and now, our healthcare premiums are more expensive and thousands are left uninsured in Bucks and Montgomery County.

The American Dream has been ripped away by Brian Fitzpatrick and Donald Trump because they care more about billionaires than carpenters and teachers. In Congress, I’ll push for legislation to build new attainable starter homes for today’s workforce. @meidastouch.com

The only thing Brian Fitzpatrick has perfected in his 9 years in Congress is the art of the completely meaningless gesture, designed to protect his political future not the people he serves.

If we know what works and choose not to act, we are failing our students.

It is heartbreaking that in the wake of another mass shooting, Republicans in Congress like Brian Fitzpatrick continue to offer no solutions — while supporting a president who is pulling funding from school-based mental-health services and proven anti-violence programs.

Our hearts are heavy with news from Providence, where violence at Brown University shattered lives and a campus community. As someone who stood in front of classrooms for 26 years, I know that learning can only happen when students feel safe and supported.
