Have an awesome week!
I still can’t decide on this platform.
Here’s a dog.
Saturday evenings…
As the sun dipped I strolled across the road to each the cowlets play and chase each other around the field…
I've just received an email with a photograph of a letter from a young boy in Brazil with some ideas for how I can put my books on the internet, including making it interactive. I am absolutely blown away... ten years after release and kids all over the world are still using it!
I was on the beach just after
7 this morning watching the sunrise over the mountains behind me, picking up stuff that shouldn’t be there, and enjoying the views of a snow-capped Mount Snowdon
My first coffee was guzzled in the garden. It was pitch black as I waited and listened for the first bird, which turned out to be be a blackbird. I'm now at my desk, third coffee on the go, fingertips bashing at the keys and Eider the Labrador at my feet #officedog
My Karrimor SF Modi 15 stepped up as my ‘digital nomad’ laptop bag today, and I usually carry binoculars just in case an opportunity to watch some wildlife pops up!
Giving a bully all of your lunch money only stops you getting beaten up today. Tomorrow they’ll be back for more.
There is so much false information flying around on all social media platforms right now. Let’s all be part of the solution by fact checking, not blindly reposting.
It was a tad chilly this morning, but it wasn’t raining so I had my coffee outdoors and watched the world wake up around me.
Fuck trump.
Exploring the long-abandoned mausoleum in the old Vaynol estate in Wales.
Awesome sky this morning!
I top and tail my day with time outdoors, and sharing my life with four dogs is a fantastic way to make sure that happens 🤣
I found myself not too far from the coast yesterday, so invested a few minutes in removing plastic from the beach #LeaveNoTrace
I have six stoves in storage in another country, but I need one here... so I've bought one. Damn.
Coffee and sunrises do go well together
Yep!
Until I moved here, I rarely had a run of more than a fortnight at home without finding a reason or an excuse to get away. However now I'm at home a lot more, so a few days ago I kicked off a sourdough starter... and that is the highlight of my week! 🤣
Yep
My navigation essentials…
Being a digital nomad with my @karrimorsf.bsky.social Upload laptop bag…
Netherton Foundry crochta and glamping pans being used on a BBQ for an outdoor breakfast
A netherton glamping pan full of fried bread on a portable (not disposbale) BBQ on a pebble beach
Sausages cooking in a Netherton glamping pan on a barbecue
Each of our pans is made with love, passion & pride, so a bit like pedigree puppy dealers, we want them to go to good homes, where they'll be well looked after & cherished.
Such a delight to receive these customer photos, showing how they had taken their pans for a day out at the beach!
During Arctic expeditions, through the day we tuck into bags of 'trail mix' stowed in our pockets or packs; dried meat and fish, blubber, sweets, chocolate, dried fruit, and pounds and pounds of cashew nuts!
It’s hoofing down with rain here and blowing a hooley so it’s definitely not a poncho day, but there are times… youtu.be/SewYEfeGXHU?...
This month’s challenge. Who’s in? 🤣
This was my Sunday afternoon. How was yours?
