Civ 3 is my absolute favourite civ of all time. And it's now rebuilt in my favourite engine (@godotengine.org ) with my favourite language (C#). What can a techie ask for?

I still can't believe @blackmagicdesign.bsky.social Da Vinci resolve is free. Made a video with separate audio recording. Then I thought, omg, I need to lio-sync audio. Well, no. It takes like 4 clicks and 30 seconds to sync Audio via waveform.
Look at this very promising tool #MadeWithGodot
Would love to see a talk about it's making at @godotfest.com!

I had the privilege to meet the @tarsierstudios.bsky.social devs at the REANIMAL launch event by @thqnordic.com. Such a cool event!
Oh, indeed! Thanks for pointing that out! It's been a while since I had the chance to look at the original draft. I've let JetBrains know!
The @jetbrains.com State of Game Development Report is out! And unsurprisingly, Godot is on the rise!

Hah! I was wondering the same thing all along!
I gleaned from the issues on GH, that its sole purpose was to segment the loading progress bar! I am wondering why it wasn't a calculated value in the first place.
Is it just me, or are Godot docs extremely slow right now?
I am so happy, that Godot 4.6 removes load_steps from the tscn/tres files. It's been a constant pain with with git.

Intteresting and sad to see that AI is so ubiquitous and the hate so blind because of all the anti AI purists, that even these anti AI advocates are getting accused of using AI and subsequently abused.
Just don't hate on each other. Don't boycott anyone because they had themselves helped by AI.
PSA: DO NOT PLAY A GAME ABOUT DIGGING A HOLE!
It needs to be banned for not autosaving and instead reminding you after just a few minutes that 30 minutes of your live have passed without saving. Pure evil.
The next @godotfest.com in Munich will come: It is planned for November 2026, the organisers of GameDev Events Munich have revealed to @gamesmarket.global.

How I know I'm working with an awesome team at #GodotFest:
* 2200: too tired to work on integrating Bsky API
* 00:00 Other team member takes a stab
* 01:00 testing now
* 03:15 This is BS. I am not going to invest one more minute into this
* 04:35: got it working. Good night
* 04:45: here's more
Picture of the room Danzig at smartvillage Bogenhausen where GodotFest will be. Four large tables in an open space, one of the tables is labelled "your game here"
Before you leave for #GodotFest in a few days - if you want to showcase your projects, bring a laptop! We'll have two rooms with tables and power. Spots are first come first serve, but reset during lunch break to give everyone a chance.
It's fascinating to see where Godot games are going from showreel to showreel!
- much higher quality and polish
- much more 3D. A while back, it was mostly 2D. Now it's mostly 3D
