Garethβs material is always so great, and kids love the activities! Love seeing him come over to Blueskys!
San Francisco School District created their own using multiple sources www.sfusd.edu/learning/cur... England has some really good material. White Rose Math is one of them. It has some really good resources that teach to understanding.
without being confusing. whiteroseeducation.com/resources?su...
I so agree! Thereβs a lot of great math material out there. Unfortunately, it doesnβt always show up in textbooks. The material that programs use often end up confusing students and teachers. Many times administrations tie teachers hands and donβt want them to deviate from the selected program.
Is this IReady? Some pages are just made for the trash!
I agree. Itβs very confusing especially when it ask how many hops to each shape. The rose to the beehive is not 4 spaces away. It is 5. The flower to rose is 3 not 2. This will confuse students when they use a number line to add. Sometimes I wonder who writes these text book!
The words Christian and This Administration should Never be used in the same sentence! They have nothing in common.
100-50=50 but I have to add 3 more because I have 103. And I have to add another 3?because I only had to subtract 50. 103-47= 50+3+3=56
This is great Howie! This should be played at back to school nights so that parents understand why math is more than just algorithms.
Youβre the best Howie! Wish we could get the math community up and running on Bluesky like it was on Twitter!
I would love to be on this list!
This is great Sarah! Thank you!
Itβs what that guy wants to do with Medicare and Medicaid that we have to be scared of. Did some ask Oz how much he had invested in his private funds in insurance companies?? Can we get that info public?
So glad you came over! I kept searching but you didnβt show up until I typed your name As one word. Slowly we will bring the math group over!
Another from Pennsylvania.
Yay! Iβm glad math people are moving over!
